Editorial Project
This project is my editorial series. The idea for this project was to pick a phrase from one of two articles and make a three piece series with one "major" and two "minor" illustrations. I chose to use the article "Are Video Games Art?" and the phrase "art should be defined as the imitation of nature." I chose to use the Tomb Raider Trilogy, so first I started by sketching the minor illustrations.
Then I started sketching the major illustrations.
Once my drawings were approved for the assignment and I got the "OK" to move on, I refined my sketches and made them larger to show more detail.
Here is my final editorial series, complete with a presentation board, editing, and refinement.
