Book Jacket Cover
The book jacket cover project was one that I was excited to do since I knew immediately which book I wanted to illustrate. I chose the hit manga series 'Nana.' Since the books are split into volumes, I had the bright idea to combine volumes 1-21 together into one book. I had many ideas for this project, but the catch was that the cover had to show a visual "twist." Below are the four thumbnails that I had etched.
I couldn't be more proud of how the finished cover looked. The book jacket cover is complete with a visual twist (contrast in scale), full color, title, and author.
